SCHEDULE
From October 1st until December 31st 2006 exhibition reviews, published exclusively during this period of time, have been collected by the basis wien. From November 1st until December 31st applications for the Junior Art Critics Award could be sent in.
The first meeting of the jury and editors of the partner magazines was on December 15th, to discuss the process of selecting the texts and the criterias of judging art criticism. The discussion is part of the publication "ACA Lesebuch", which comes along with the project.
The collected exhibition reviews have been made anonymous for the jury and were transmitted to the various members of the jury. The conference took place on March 31, 2007, at the basis wien.
The ceremonious presentation of the awards was publicly being held in the VIENNAFAIR Art Lounge at fluc, Vienna on April 28th, 2007, 7.30 p.m.! The Art Critics Orchestra from Berlin provided the music for the ceremony.
At the same time the book "ACA Lesebuch" was presented. It consists mainly of texts from the 100th issue of the magazine frieze dealing with art criticism. The articles were translated into German language and some texts from invited authors were added.
